Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
OstravaMenu, Inc. is a company registered in the United States with its office in Los Angeles, California. We operate the OstravaMenu platform for QR code menus and digital tipping. For any privacy question, write to support@ostravamenu.com.
2. Data we collect
From venue accounts: business name, address, contact email, billing details and the menu content you upload. From staff profiles: display name, photo and the payout account used to receive tips. From guests: no account is required — we record the anonymous scan event, the device type and, when a tip is paid, the payment confirmation returned by our payment processor. We never see full card numbers.
3. Why we process it
To display your menu, route tips to the correct staff member, issue receipts, prevent fraudulent payments, provide support and produce aggregated analytics for the venue. We do not sell personal data and we do not use guest data for advertising.
4. Payments
Card payments and tip payouts are handled by regulated third-party payment processors. They act as independent controllers of the payment data they collect and apply their own privacy terms in addition to ours.
5. Retention
Venue and staff account data is kept while the subscription is active and for 12 months after cancellation. Transaction records are retained for 7 years where tax law requires it. Anonymous scan analytics are aggregated after 24 months.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Email support@ostravamenu.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
The guest-facing menu uses only functional storage needed to keep an order in progress. The venue dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising cookies are set on either surface.
8. Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will notify account owners by email at least 14 days before it takes effect.
